Youtube Removes Monetization Of Channels having less than 10K Views |
As we all know, Youtube is one of the biggest platform for creators as well as advertisers for promoting their business through ads on Youtube. But nowadays lots of new channels are emerging which are reuploading the same content just for earning money with Youtube Partnership Program i.e. Adsense (Monetization).
This has lowered the standard of Youtube making spams. and Finally, Youtube has taken a strong step towards new channels for maintaining strong relationship with their advertisers.
On April 6,2017, Youtube announced that Channels having total lifetime views less than 10K will not be able to monetize their videos. Once they hit 10K views, Channels are eligible to join the Youtube Partnership Program. But Youtube will review the activity of their channel when you apply. If it does not violate their Community Guidelines and Advertiser's Policy, your request will be accepted and You can check your monetization request status in Creator Studio under channel tab option labelled with Monetization.

This policy applies from today and it is the new threshold requirement of youtube parternship program. Said By Ariel Bardin, VP of Product Management.
Along with this Youtube also made the process easier of reporting a channel that is impersonating you. That means other channels who are copying your profile image, text and trying to get advantage of your popularity under your standing.
