Remove White Highlighted Text Background From Blog Post

How to remove white highlighted text background from blogpost/blogger?

Before i start providing solutions to this question, firstly let us know why this happens.

Sometimes when you prepare your article in Word/Notepad etc. and create post using copy from the Microsoft Word and Pasting into Post Sections of blogger, the white background is copied along with the text which appears as white background after publishing the post.

It may also show you white text background to you if you copy content from the other websites and paste it on your blog. Well, you should not do this. To stop others copying your content from your blog : Click Here

Sometimes it may appear even when you have not done copy paste. I suggest you to perform following steps to remove white background from text.

Method 1 For Existing White Background On Post:

When you are composing your post, firstly completely type it or copy paste from your typed word file.
Publish the post and observe where white background appears.
Select the text that shows white background and click remove formatting options as shown under.

Method 2 For Existing White Background On Post:

    1.Go to edit your post
2.There you will find two options on upper left corner Compose and HTML
    3.Click HTML
    4. Now press control F and search for background-color: white
    5.Delete style="background-color: white;"
    6. This will remove all the white backgrounds showing in posts. but it is time consuming since multiple time it appears in post. I suggest you to use method 1 in which select the text only that has white background and click remove formatting.

Method 3 For New Posts To Keep In Mind To Avoid White BG:

If you are creating new posts doing copy paste from Words or other website. Then Keep The Following Instructions in Mind.

    1. Copy The Part You want to have in blog post.
    2. While pasting don't use ctrl + v.
    3. Instead use ctrl+ shift + v or right click the cursor and select the option paste as plain text.

NOTE: Even the blog title can have white background. Do the same methods for heading too.

I hope this will help you Imran Ahmad.
