Once you create a new Youtube channel and start uploading videos on your channel, you must verify your channel. The reason of that is Youtube prevents spam and abuse. If you have not verified your channel by your phone number than there are more chances of your channel to be treated as spam and it will get suspended.

1. Sign in to your Youtube channel from Right Corner.
2. Click on your account and open creator studio.
3. Now, open Channel Tab from the Left Sidebar.
4. Under the Status and Features option, there will be option to verify your channel as shown in video. 
5. Click verify button and enter the Country as well as Mobile Number and Choose appropriate method either call or text message.
